Accommodation & Other Residential Facilities

Each of our accommodation units is self-contained, so that you have exclusive use of your own kitchen, dining room, lounge and meeting/activity rooms. Whether you are a large group or a relatively small one, our range of accommodation options offers you a great deal of flexibility and choice.

The accommodation options listed below can be booked in combination by larger groups. Our bed capacity is 264, but with camp-beds, camping and caravans we could stretch to about double that number.

Useful amenities available to all guests include a laundry with washing, drying and ironing facilities and a shop stocking sweets, chocolate, drinks, cards, gifts, etc. For details of other amenities available to guests, particularly for games, sports and other activities, see the Facilities & Equipment and Activities pages.

More specific details about all of these accommodation options, including costs, are in our Portfolio and User's Handbook. Please get in touch to request further information.

It is also used by a number of other groups, including: College and University CU?s, Conferences for Christian Organisations, School Educational/Activity residential visits, and Youth Group weekends and camps.

Most groups which use Quinta Hall are between 65 and 100 in number. It is sometimes used by large groups as the focal point of a multi-unit booking

Quinta Hall has 36 bedrooms of varying sizes, all with wash-basins. The types of beds in rooms are varied, including doubles, singles and bunks. There are toilets, baths and shower facilities at various points around the building. Four bedrooms on the first floor enjoy new en-suite facilities; and two bedrooms on the ground floor include disabled en-suite facilities.

Camping & Caravans

The Quinta estate is a lovely venue for camping. Although we have local authority permission for camping groups, Quinta is not an ordinary public camp-site and we cannot take individuals or families. We welcome schools (e.g. Duke of Edinburgh's Award) and church groups. We also welcome a limited number of caravans in combination with camping or residential groups. Please ask for more details.

The large field, between Quinta Hall and the lake, is available for large camping/caravanning groups. There is ample power and water provided for groups who wish to hire portable toilet and shower blocks. This field is also suitable for pitching large tents and marquees. Details for hiring toilets, showers and marquees are included in our User's Handbook. Our permanent camping site is surrounded by trees and shrubs, and has its own drinking water supply and a campfire area at the centre.

We also have a Caravan Club Certificated Location that can be used by families or individuals who are members of the Caravan Club. Electric hook-up facilities are provided. We can offer other facilities for a limited number of Caravan Rallies by bona fide clubs with exemption from local planning restrictions.

We provide drinking water and disposal facilities. Toilet, washing and shower facilities are available adjacent to our Sports Hall. There is also a laundry on site.
