The
Severn Lodge Complex is about 150 metres away from Quinta Hall
and consists almost entirely of bunk-bed accommodation and provides
shower facilities (not baths). The rooms vary in size between 2-bed
and 8-bed rooms (most are 4-bed or 6-bed). All rooms have a wash-basin
and storage space. The Severn Lodge Complex is used primarily by
students, schools and youth/children’s groups, but also offers
an acceptable cheaper option to adult and family groups. The Severn
Lodge Complex will take up to 140, plus a few camp-beds if needed.
It is comprised of three adjoining, but self-contained units.
These units can be booked entirely separately or in various combinations,
to suit the size of your group. Severn
Lodge is the largest of the units, usually taking
groups of 45 to 80.
This unit includes
a large kitchen and dining-room, large meeting/activity room,
lounge and games-room. One of the
ground-floor
bedrooms has an en-suite, disabled toilet and shower-room. The
Annexe is a single-storey building and usually takes groups
of 20 to 36 people; with the option of three additional rooms taking
the maximum up to 45. Again this unit also has its own kitchen and
dining-room, lounge and meeting/activity/games room. The
Archway is the smallest of the three units, usually taking
10 to 25 people. It includes its own kitchen and dining-room and
lounge/meeting room. As all of the sleeping accommodation is on
the first floor, it isn’t really suitable for people with
disabilities.
