Facilities and Equipment

At Quinta we try hard to provide everything that groups might need to make their stay here go as smoothly as possible, and so that guests can feel very much at home.

The following are all available for guests to use, or borrow. Most are available free of charge. Where there is a fee payable, this is indicated.

PA System

There is a basic PA system in Quinta Hall meeting room, with 3 microphones available, and a basic keyboard. Speakers are located within the ceiling. Some groups prefer to bring their own system and this is acceptable. We have a small portable PA system which could be used in any of the Severn Lodge meeting rooms.

Projector and screen

Each meeting room has its own screen, which in Severn Lodge and Quinta Hall can be put either at the end of the room, or down the side, depending on how you would like the room laid out. We have one data projector available for hire, cost £16.10 per 24 hour period.

Games boxes

Apart from Reed House, each accommodation unit has its own games box, containing footballs, tennis and table tennis equipment, pool cues etc. There is no charge apart from covering the cost of losses or breakages.

Laundry

There is a coin operated laundry on site for guests to use. The washing machines need two £1 coins and two 20p’s. The dryers need either a £1 coin, or five 20p’s. Guests need to supply their own washing powder.

BBQs

We have two gas BBQs available for hire, cost £8.05 per meal. We also have a charcoal BBQ available free of charge, but you need to supply your own charcoal.

Cots and high chairs

We have a good supply of cots and high chairs available. Please let us know in advance if you need these so that they can be out ready for you.

Shop

A shop, stocking sweets, drinks, souvenirs, books, stationery, greetings cards and toiletries, is located just inside Quinta Hall, but is available for all guests on the site. On Saturdays the shop is open from 9.15am, 1.45pm and 4.45pm for 30 minutes each time, unless groups specifically need it open at other times. The shop is not open on Sundays. We ask groups not to bring their own tuck shop – we are happy to provide a D-I-Y tuck shop on a sale and return basis for groups who would prefer this option.

Cleaning equipment

All accommodation units have their own cleaning equipment. Additional supplies can be provided by the duty manager.

Internet access

Wireless internet access is provided in the Quinta Hall reception and lounge area. Please ask the duty manager for the access key. Groups staying in the Severn Lodge complex have open wireless access to the internet at that end of the site.

Photo-copying

We are happy to do small amounts of photo copying for groups. Please ask the duty manager in the main office. Black and white copies are 6p each, colour copies are 10p each.
