School Groups

Quinta is a great venue for residential visits from both Primary and Secondary schools.

Our full-time Education and Activities Co-ordinator will work with you to arrange, plan and deliver the programme for your residential visit. Please get in touch by phone or email via the Contact Us page.

We work in conjunction with two specialist outdoor activity providers. If you are considering including outdoor activities in your programme then you should contact FREAX or Adventure Plus via the Contact Us page. Both these companies will work with you to provide activities that meet your requirements.

An integral part of the Quinta experience is to enjoy something of our Christian ethos. Our Education Co-ordinator will usually lead a thought-for-the-day session on each day of your stay. These sessions are suitable for pupils of all faiths and none. Prior to you visit you will be able to discuss and plan for this aspect of the programme with our Education and Activities Co-ordinator, who may also be able to provide an input to other parts of your programme.

We can also arrange school day visits to Quinta.

There are so many different options for what a Quinta Residential may look like – depending what your focus is, the age group you bring, the activities you choose, the places you visit etc. To give you an idea of what is available and approximate costs for each, here is a sample of a varied program. Your time here will be tailor made to you and your group.

Day One	‘Walk to Wales’ (taking in the Ceiriog valley, Chirk castle gates, aqueduct and tunnel) Assign rooms, free time to settle in. Wide game, Games and Sports	Free
Day Two	Team building / Onsite activities Low ropes course, Team challenge activities, ‘Keys of the Kingdom’ Problem solving Camp fire & free time to rehearse for talent show.	~£5.00 per person
Day Three	Nature trail & nature inspired art activity Initial sketches - outside (weather permitting) Creating designs, Making displays – tile painting, large banner / collage / window art Film / Quiz night	~£2.50 per person
Day Four	Activity Day Adventure Plus or FREAX offer both on and off site activities – Archery, Fencing, Raft building, Canoeing, Tree climbing & more. Or off site – Real rock climbing, Canoeing. Talent Show / Themed party	~£42.00 per person
Day Five	Sports Football, netball, basketball, rounders, uni-hoc etc.	~£1.00 per facility

We recognise the school residential is an excellent opportunity for developing relationships with your students. Whilst we are here to offer you as much help and support as we can (or you need), we seek to foster an environment that gives you, the teachers, the facilities, opportunities, encouragement and time to cover what you want to cover, and achieve what you want to achieve!
