Mosaic Church in Leeds have been coming to The Quinta for a number of years now after hearing about us from another group. Their recent stay was a church family weekend away – a great way to build deeper relationships with the people you normally only see on a Sunday at church.

We asked them what it was about The Quinta that made them want to come back each year. Paula their Group Leader explained “There are so many things to like about the centre! It has beautiful surroundings, the range of facilities to stay in, with the chance to build community in your church and meet with God – together. The range of activities available enabled people to get to know each other better while doing something they loved. For example, walking, playing football or table tennis and singing together, to name a few. It is really well set-up for large groups, which made it easy for organising”

Like many groups, Mosaic choose to self-cater, so how did they find the facilities? Paula told us there was a “great kitchen and washing up facilities” and the rest of Quinta Hall had “nice bedrooms with a number of en suites.” which I’m sure came in handy for Paula who told us “our youngest was 8 weeks old…”

It is not always easy to build relationships with people in church so being able to get away from your usual surroundings can help, Paula agreed as she mentioned that a highlight of their weekend away was, “building community and going deeper with God”.

Did she have any final thoughts? “Staff are ssssoooo helpful… nothing is too much trouble.”

Here at The Quinta we are creating an environment where lives have the potential to change even if we aren’t aware – in our experience God does His work from the inside out.
