Two local National Trust properties are worth checking out.

Park Hall Working Farm Museum offer different activities throughout the year, including feeding lambs, pig racing and meeting the different animals. www.parkhallfarm.co.uk
The British Ironworks visitor attraction is on the A5 on the way to Shrewsbury. See blacksmiths at work, enjoy the large metal animal sculptures and watch a falconry demonstration.
